Analog Phone for Paging

The analog phones are a work around until Ambit fixes installs the Paging System

Here are directions on how to use the console phone to do all calls or page individual rooms:

  • Using the console phone is very similar to using the old ShoreTel phones, with one exception:

    • You do not need to press the "Page" button.

    • The "Page" button on the old ShoreTel phones only provided access to the paging system, which is not necessary on the console phone, as it is directly connected to the intercom system

  • To make a page

    • Pick up the handset.

    • Wait for the tone from the paging/bell system.

    • Dial the appropriate paging code:

      • Use the All Call code to page the entire building, or

      • Dial the code for a specific classroom or area.

  • Each school has a list of paging codes and the corresponding classroom or room locations.
